We believe that every person deserves a chance to live a fulfilling and meaningful life, free from the obstacles and challenges that hold them back. Whether it’s through providing access to education, healthcare, housing, or other vital resources, we are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most.

What is SHARP - Saving Hands Rapid Progress

SHARP, Saving Hands And Rapid Progress is a community project which sees the needs of drug and alcohol addicts, ex-offenders, prostitutes, and other vulnerable people in our communities.

Through studies and research, we’ve discovered that most crimes, including, rape, arson, robbery, and murder, have a lot to do with drugs. People take drugs to find such boldness and hardness of heart to commit several other crimes, and our ability to reduce addicts will also reduce several other crimes in our society.

We therefore support these people most people don’t want to relate with, by befriending them and helping them find love and rebuild their self confidence and self worth. Only who has love for himself can show love to his neighbor.

We signpost to Christian Rehabilitation Centers where required. We help restore family relationships by reconciling ex offenders with their families with whom they’ve been estranged. We help them prepare CVS, connect then to Job centers and follow them up until they no longer constitute nuisance. SHARP don’t discriminate, just as drugs don’t discriminate who they hold captive.
